Director of Sales
Position Description
Location: Remote – U.S.
Salary: $80,000–$130,000
Travel: Approximately 2–3 industry conferences or client events annually
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to drive new business and revenue growth nationwide. This is a senior-level individual contributor position with no direct people management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a proven staffing industry sales professional with a strong track record of winning enterprise and mid-market clients, building executive relationships, and closing complex deals. You are a true hunter who thrives on prospecting, creating opportunities, and exceeding sales goals.
In this role, you will grow MSP, Direct Hire, and Contingent Staffing solutions across organizations throughout the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive new business and revenue growth.
- Build relationships with executive decision-makers across Talent Acquisition, HR, Procurement, Operations, and Contingent Workforce Management.
- Leverage an established industry network to generate qualified opportunities.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Expand staffing and workforce solutions within new and existing accounts.
- Collaborate with recruiting, delivery, and account management teams to ensure successful client partnerships.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline information in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- 10 years of sales or business development experience in staffing or recruiting.
- Proven success acquiring enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong network within staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, MSP, or contingent workforce environments.
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional prospecting, negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must be authorized to work and reside in the U.S. and available for occasional domestic travel.
Preferred Experience
- Staffing sales experience in IT, Finance & Accounting, Engineering, or Professional Services.
- Experience selling MSP, RPO, Direct Hire, Contingent Workforce, or other workforce solutions.
